Ms. Hyatt's practice focuses on workers' compensation. In addition, she has experience in administrative law and health care law. Her health care law practice includes matters such as health care licensing, certificates of need, Stark/Anti-Kickback issues, and health care litigation.
Ms. Hyatt is a graduate of Furman University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in health and exercise science. She received a Master of Public Health from the University of South Carolina, and she later received a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina where she was a founding member of the Health Law Society. Ms. Hyatt is admitted to practice in the South Carolina Supreme Court, the United States Federal District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and serves on the Administrative and Regulatory Law Committee and the Health Care Law Section Council, of which she is currently secretary. Ms. Hyatt is also a member of the Richland County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
