Ms. Ankney’s area of practice focuses on workers' compensation defense. 

She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina where she attended the South Carolina Honors College and was a member of the Mortar Board and Omicron Delta Kappa. Ms. Ankney received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law where she was a member of the Legislative Council and the Student Bar Administration. She was formerly an Assistant Solicitor for the Fifth Judicial Circuit. Ms. Ankney is currently a member of the Charleston County Bar, the Charleston Lawyers’ Club, the American Bar Association, South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association, South Carolina Workers' Compensation Educational Association, and the South Carolina Bar.
