Mr. Jeffries’ practice is concentrated on general liability defense, suretyship law, arson and insurance fraud, premises liability, products liability, automobile negligence, construction litigation, arbitration and mediation, first party insurance disputes, bad faith, and UM/UIM claims.
He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in journalism and mass communication. Mr. Jeffries received his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law where he was a member of the Holderness Moot Court and served as Chairman of the J. Braxton Craven Moot Court Competition. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. Mr. Jeffries is a member of the Mecklenburg County and North Carolina State Bar Associations and the Defense Research Institute, and he serves on the board of directors of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. He is also a member of the North Carolina Insurance Crime Information Exchange and the International Association of Arson Investigators.
