Philadelphia, PA
Erin Lamb’s practice focuses on professional liability, employment, catastrophic loss, construction defect, insurance coverage and contract disputes, with extensive experience in early case evaluation, litigation strategy development and risk management. For nearly two decades, she has represented corporations, attorneys, employers and homeowners' associations in state and federal courts across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Erin handles a broad spectrum of complex, high-exposure catastrophic loss and casualty cases, including claims involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, quadriplegia, loss of limb and multi-million-dollar property loss. Her defense work spans product liability, construction site accidents, workplace safety, premises liability, explosions, fires and building collapses. Erin was a member of the defense team in Philadelphia County’s largest personal injury matter to date, representing a national corporation in a five-month trial arising from the collapse of an adjacent building.
Erin’s professional liability practice includes the defense of claims and lawsuits brought against attorneys for professional negligence. She also has significant experience representing homeowners’ associations in matters involving boards and directors as well as property owners; she is adept at navigating the sensitive nature of these disputes, pursuing settlement when appropriate and preparing rigorously for trial when necessary. In her employment practice, Erin defends employers against claims of discrimination, retaliation as well as wage and hour matters.
A recognized leader in the legal community, Erin serves as the Director of The Lawyers’ Club of Philadelphia and is an Executive Board Member of Temple American Inn of Court and Brehon Law Society of Philadelphia. She is also the immediate past chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division (YLD). During her YLD tenure, Erin launched a city-wide expungement clinic in collaboration with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, the Mayor’s Office, Community Legal Services and First Judicial District—providing services to over 1,000 Philadelphians. As YLD chair-elect, she served as chair of Law Week, an annual civics program for 300 elementary school students.
