Kathleen Dudgeon’s practice focuses on litigation at MGC, where she represents commercial clients and businesses in a wide range of civil matters. With experience spanning commercial litigation, insurance coverage and regulatory counseling, Kathleen brings a well rounded approach to resolving complex legal issues. She combines resilience and compassion in her advocacy, working to deliver thoughtful and effective solutions for her clients.
Prior to joining MGC, Kathleen practiced with a full-service law firm, where she handled commercial disputes, insurance coverage analysis and legislative and regulatory matters. In that role, she advised clients on compliance issues and contributed to drafting life insurance legislation that was ultimately enacted into state law. Her experience includes working with a broad range of clients, providing her with a broad perspective on litigation strategy and risk assessment.
During law school, Kathleen gained practical experience through the University of Kentucky College of Law Legal Clinic, where she served as a Student Limited License Attorney handling matters involving expungements, small claims and tenant rights. She also externed for Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice Laurance B. VanMeter (ret.), further developing her understanding of appellate and judicial processes.
In her personal time, Kathleen enjoys spending time on her family’s farm, exploring new restaurants, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats and embracing her role as a proud aunt.
