For over two decades, Thomas Kelly has advised employers, insurers and third-party administrators on high-exposure workers’ compensation matters. Serving as an advocate to MGC’s mid-Atlantic clients, Thomas is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Thomas focuses his practice on the strategic defense and resolution of complex workers’ compensation claims, with particular depth in matters arising from the construction, oil and gas as well as transportation. He is regularly entrusted with managing significant claims and is known for his decisive approach, command of complex issues and ability to deliver practical, results-driven guidance at every stage of a matter. A core principle of Thomas’ practice is helping clients navigate litigation efficiently and cost‑effectively; he approaches each case with the goal of resolving disputes in a manner that minimizes exposure and avoids unnecessary escalation, always prioritizing solutions that align with his clients’ business objectives.
Prior to joining MGC, Thomas served as Co-Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Group at a full-service law firm, where he oversaw a team of attorneys and played a key role in guiding the group’s strategic direction.
Thomas is the proud father of two daughters, one of whom attends Clemson University. Outside of his practice, he enjoys golfing, traveling and skiing.
