Fostering Our Communities

Our culture extends to our commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. We firmly believe in giving back and being an active participant in making the world a better place. Through our various initiatives, we support local communities and charitable organizations throughout our footprint. By actively engaging with our community, we strive to create a positive impact that extends beyond the walls of our workplace.

What We're Doing

Supporting our Troops

At MGC, we are committed to honoring and supporting those who serve our country. Over the years, our firm-wide charitable initiatives have focused on giving back to military communities and veterans.

Wreaths Across America
Wreaths Across America’s mission is to remember our fallen U.S. veterans, honor those who serve and teach the next generation the value of freedom. Team MGC proudly participates in this effort each year by sponsoring wreaths and volunteering at cemeteries across our firm’s footprint. Since joining the initiative in 2022, we’ve raised $14,162 to ensure veterans are honored during the holiday season. Our employees also join volunteers across our footprint to lay wreaths on veteran’s graves, a tradition we look forward to continuing annually.

Past Initiatives
From 2014 through 2022, MGC hosted the MGC Long Run, a road race that raised over $200,000 for nonprofit organizations, including USO South Carolina. This event brought together hundreds of runners, walkers and volunteers to celebrate and honor those who serve. While the MGC Long Run has concluded, its impact remains a proud part of our history.

Local Office Charitable Giving

We are proud to be connected to a wide range of communities across our footprint. Our “Let’s Go Local” initiative allows us to give back by supporting local nonprofit organizations through volunteering, donating and fundraising. Each office’s volunteer team leads these efforts, selecting nonprofit partners that best align with their local community. Some of our local nonprofit organizations include:
