PHILADELPHIA, PA – Law firm McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC) is pleased to announce attorney Hillary Ladov has been installed as the Brandeis Law Society’s Chancellor. The Louis D. Brandeis Law Society is a dynamic and inclusive organization dedicated to fostering a sense of community, professional development and cultural enrichment among Jewish lawyers, judges and law students.
For nearly a decade, Ladov has represented insurance industry clients in a variety of coverage matters. Her practice includes insurance coverage counseling and litigation, bad faith, professional liability and commercial litigation. Ladov has extensive experience handling complex insurance cases in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She also serves on the Board of Governors for the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Board of Directors for Justice at Work.
Ladov earned a dual Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College. In 2017, she received the Joseph H. Foster Young Lawyer Award by the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel for her exemplary professionalism, ethical practice and dedication as defense counsel. Ladov has also been recognized for her pro bono efforts by the Philadelphia Bar Association and Rutgers University School of Law, and has been named a Rising Star in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
