RALEIGH, NC – Law firm McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC) welcomed seasoned litigator Nicole Bleuer to its Raleigh team, further strengthening the firm’s litigation bench in North Carolina. Bleuer brings more than a decade of experience defending insurers and their insureds in complex first‑ and third‑party tort matters across the state. Her work spans a wide range of issues involving liability, coverage interpretation and risk management, where she is known for delivering practical, results‑driven solutions to clients navigating high‑exposure disputes. In addition to her insurance practice, Bleuer has served as lead counsel for regional and multi‑state companies in commercial litigation and general corporate advisory roles, giving her a distinct ability to guide clients through multifaceted operational, compliance and litigation challenges.
Bleuer’s commitment to service began early in her legal career; while attending Campbell Law, she provided pro bono representation through the Bankruptcy Clinic and held a leadership role as Community Service Chair for the Women in Law Society. She also gained experience with the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review, the Wake County Attorney’s Office and the North Carolina Court of Appeals, developing a strong foundation in administrative and appellate practice.
Bleuer holds a Juris Doctor from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio State University. She is an active member of the Cary Chamber of Commerce, North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, North Carolina Bar Association and 10th Judicial District/Wake County Bar Association. Bleuer has been recognized for her litigation practice by Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite since 2023.
