The law firm of McAngus Goudelock & Courie is pleased to announce that Columbia Business Monthly has named attorney Rocky Hughey as one of the Midlands’ Legal Elite. The Legal Elite were nominated by their peers in the legal community and are published in the October 2013 issue of Columbia Business Monthly.
Mr. Hughey was honored in the workers’ compensation law category. Mr. Hughey is recognized by the Supreme Court of South Carolina as a certified mediator. He is a member of the South Carolina and Richland County Bar Assocations, the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, the Defense Research Institute, the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association, and is an active member of the board of directors of Kids’ Chance of South Carolina, a nonprofit organization that awards scholarships to children of injured workers. Mr. Hughey was reently recognized in the 2013 edition of South Carolina Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star.
