An experienced civil litigator, Melody Kiella’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including trucking/transportation law, catastrophic personal injury defense, premises liability and negligent security. Kiella earned a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University, graduating summa cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts from California State Polytechnic University. She serves as the Online Programming Chair for DRI, and is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Tort & Trial Section, Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, State Bar of Georgia and Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. Kiella has been recognized in prior years for her transportation practice by Georgia Super Lawyers.

Kate Whitlock has spent her entire career defending and counseling individuals and insurance companies accused of not doing their jobs right. Primarily in professional liability, bad faith and sexual misconduct matters, Whitlock represents those in the legal, insurance, real estate, accounting and education fields, among others. She is a Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP). Whitlock earned a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa, graduating with honors. She has been recognized for her practice by The Best Lawyers in America© and Georgia Super Lawyers, and was named among America’s Top Lawyers by The American Law Society in 2018. Whitlock serves in leadership roles with several national organizations, including DRI, CLM and Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. She is also a member of State Bar of Georgia, Atlanta Bar Association and Lawyers Club of Atlanta.
