Michael G. Morrison II

Asheville, NC

Michael Morrison's practice focuses on employment and workers’ compensation law in the firm’s Asheville office, where he represents employers and insurers.

Prior to joining MGC, Michael practiced management-side labor and employment law in the U.S. Virgin Islands and represented employees in North Carolina and South Carolina. His experience on both sides of employment issues informs his holistic, proactive and practical approach to all issues critical to the modern workplace. Michael has also served as an advocate before the American Arbitration Association and various administrative tribunals, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor.

In Michael’s personal time, he enjoys being outdoors (specifically hiking and running new trails) and playing the alto saxophone. You may find him spoiling his Goldendoodles (Maui and Sunny) or training for various fitness competitions.
