Whitten has handled cases at every level of the North Carolina workers’ compensation system and has successfully defended matters before the Full Commission, the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court. In addition to his workers’ compensation practice, he has represented clients in civil disputes involving negligence, premises liability and third‑party lien issues, and has defended employers before the North Carolina Department of Labor and the EEOC.
